Have you discovered your Personal Power?

by 8 Dec, 2015Uncategorized

Before I sat down to write to you today, I was nudged to select a card from Scott Alexander King’s beautiful animal card deck

Whilst shuffling the cards, I asked; ‘What does my beautiful community need to know today?’ and this is the card that presented itself:

I absolutely LOVE how the Universe aligns and helps us!  How wonderful to receive that card especially following what I have been experiencing lately working with animals.

During the past few weeks each and every animal, whether a dog or horse or cat,  had a special message for their human families.  Usually the message was for one particular human family member.  Reason I share this with you is that the same topic comes up during every consultation: LISTEN TO YOU, TO YOUR SELF.  And this is the Personal Power presented to us today in the card.

Personal Power seems to be the flavour of the month, so to speak.  The animals are talking to us about our own personal power, our own inner wisdom, our intuition and our S.E.L.F. (Soul Eternal Love Flame) which we are not tapping into.  We are not ‘tuned in’ to our core and using our own knowledge and wisdom in this life.

Have you ever noticed this ‘gut feeling’ that is niggling away, or making you feel uncomfortable or very enthusiastic about an event or a decision you are about to make?

That is your inner core telling you to listen, pay attention, tap into the information that is being sent to you so you can take the right step for you in this life, on your current journey.

This is your own inner voice nudging you to go into that direction, no matter how scary, uncomfortable or weird it may seem.

When we don’t listen to our S.E.L.F., we are not embracing our own personal power.  We are not embracing our own knowledge and experience gathered over life times. Therefore we are not able to shift, transition or move towards what we want in our lives.

Do you want to remain stuck?

So, how can we start to listen to our S.E.L.F.?

When you look at animals, you will notice how calm, grounded and in tune they are with themselves and their environment.  They operate based on their instinct…that is their gut feeling or inner self.  For us to get to that place of calm, we can practise to breathe…

When we breathe we feel calm and we clear the way to listen to our inner voice, that softly spoken part of us.

Let’s give this a go:

Sit in your chair or stand up.  Put your hand over your heart.  Breathe in 5 counts and breathe out 5 counts.

Notice the difference?

From this place, we close our eyes and we listen to what we hear, softly in the background, we observe how we feel and we take note of the information that comes through.

Repeat the exercise if you want to fully immerse in that wonderful calm and serene feeling.

You can do this on an as need basis; the more you practise the more you will hear your own voice and the easier it becomes to follow the wisdom you share with you.

I am lovingly leaving you with the following extract from the animal card deck booklet, related to the personal power card:

“All journeys start with a simple step forward,
with any forward movement nurturing growth, and
growth leading to development and enrichment.
Promoting a sense of complete freedom,
the appearance of Horse suggests travel of all kinds,

both inner and outward, emotional, physical and spiritual.”

Love & Light
